Choosing the right outfits can make a huge difference in how your photos look and feel. Timeless, coordinated clothing keeps the focus on your connection and allows your photos to stay beautiful.

My recommendation is to keep it neutral. Soft, neutral tones photograph best and create a clean, elegant look. We recommend colors such as white, cream, beige, tan, brown, sage green, olive, soft blue, and black (for a more modern, sophisticated look). When choosing these colors please avoid any bold patterns and keep it simple.

If you're wearing traditional attire, simplicity is key.

For men, a plain white or cream kurta is always our top recommendation. Solid-colored kurtas work beautifully. Avoid heavily patterned, sequences, striped, or printed kurtas, as they can be distracting in photos. You’ll notice that many of our favorite outfit combinations include a white kurta. Check out RSM or Asyians as you can get simple Kurtas for cheap.

For women, flowing sarees photograph beautifully by adding movement and elegance. Soft fabrics like chiffon, georgette, organza, and silk create stunning motion. Solid colors or subtle embroidery work best vs bold prints or heavy patterns.

Instead of wearing identical colors, choose outfits that complement each other. Mixing different neutral tones creates depth.

You'll be walking, sitting, and moving throughout your session. Wear outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. If you're wearing heels, consider bringing a pair of comfortable shoes for walking between locations.

Keep accessories simple and elegant. Minimal jewelry photographs beautifully and won't overpower your outfits.

We recommend choosing one traditional look and one casual or formal outfit for variety.
